For the Voith Turbo, department Mobility, we are looking for you as a

Western Region Sales Representative 
Western United States 

This Individual must live in or very near a major city in the Western United States


Fully responsible for all Rail product sales and business development activity results in the specified territory. They will need to work in close cooperation with the other departments of the Voith group to ensure success to the highest degree possible

  • Achieving or exceeding the agreed to and published FY order and sales forecast
  • Direct contact with existing and potential customers in the region with the focus of providing both stability and growth.  This contact includes but is not limited to:
  • Management of customers in the region.  This includes but is not limited to:
    • On-site meetings
    • Teleconferences
    • Cooperative meetings at customer locations
    • Product Presentations (Power Point)
    • Demonstrations
    • Introductory Training Programs for new deliveries
    • Mailings
      • Keep accurate Outlook Contacts database as well as CRM information
    • Shows/Expos
      • Regional, National, and International as directed
  • Provide management with accurate forecasts of orders and sales on a monthly basis.
  • Complete and file Monthly Regional Reports in the timeframe specified.
  • Complete and file visit reports in the timeframe specified.
  • Assist with the development of the Sales and Advertising Budget.  This would include:
    • Identify shows/expos to be attended and their associated costs.
    • Promotional items required for the region.
    • Additional support funding for the region.  This could include:
      • Special events.
  • Perform various duties at the direction for the Voith  Senior Management
  • Communicate and cooperate completely with the other members of the team.
  • Travel estimated to be greater than 50%



  • Bachelors Degree (B.A.) preferred
  • 5 years related experience and/or training preferred
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience selling industrial or mechanical products
