For the Voith Hydro, Master Scheduling department, we are looking for:

 

Scheduling Analyst I 
York, PA

 

Responsibilities –

 

  • Key accountable interface with Project Manager to ensure project schedules are prepared, maintained and submitted according to all contractual requirements
  • Key accountable interface with Manager of Integrated planning and Supervisor to ensure projects schedules are prepared, maintained and submitted according to all internal Voith processes and systems requirements
  • Key interface between Project Managers and department head (and/or Directors) to ensure projects schedules are fully up to date according to actual progress achieved
  • Collaborate with department heads (and/or Directors) to identify critical path activities and potential bottleneck situations. Provide early warnings using Earned Value Analysis, Float Consumption Management and Capacity Planning
  • Prepare schedules for projects in the bidding phase in coordination with Department Head (and/or Directors)
  • Regularly maintain systems to ensure quality of data. Involve all the areas needed to clear exception messages, perform on time confirmation and provide status
  • Support Project Managers with customer reports, presentations and meetings related to scheduling and delivery performance
  • Able to critically review a schedule and apply concepts of resource loading, cost loading, critical path, fast track and crashing to get an optimal time schedule

 

Qualifications –

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) in Engineering (preferred)
  • 2 years’ experience in project environment
  • Excellent organization skill
  • Excellent interaction and communication skills
  • PERT/CPM, EVM, Float Management, Capacity Planning, Fast Tracking, Crashing
  • Basic knowledge in Primavera (P6), resource loading, cost loading, baseline, claim digger, progress tracking
  • Advanced user qualification in SAP PP, PS, MM, MRP
  • Team player, effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Must have demonstrated successful experience and proactivity
