Summary

The incumbent in this position supports the company’s efforts in building a specialized and engaged team of talents across the organization by advertising jobs in different Medias, reviewing resumes according to jobs requirements, applying interview techniques and managing the pipeline of candidates with hiring managers. The incumbent must be very organized, be a good communicator in verbal and written fashion and be capable to explore multiple ways of obtaining qualified candidates.

 

Responsibilities

  • Receive, understand and process job requisition to post and update internal and external jobs
  • Source qualified Professionals for all areas of the company using internal and external resources
  • Cold Call, text, and email passive candidates to qualify for open direct hire opportunities
  • Work with outside headhunters and staffing agencies when needed
  • Screen candidates to ensure they meet all minimum qualifications and salary requirements
  • Interview potential candidates using industry-standard techniques
  • Introduce new hires process to approved candidates including necessary paperwork, background checks and benefits package
  • Serve as an employee advocate for new hires as well as established employees considering to be candidates for open jobs
  • Plan and execute sourcing strategy according to market demand using all available databases, job boards, internet searches and referral campaigns via phone, email and social media avenues in order to establish relationships and grow the network of qualified professionals for current and future open positions
  • Communicate timely updates and manage expectations between all stakeholders via email and conference calls to ensure continued progression of positions filled
  • High level of multi-tasking to maintain multiple client requests
  • Provide reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • High School degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of five years of recruiting experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, customer service and follow up oriented
  • Demonstrable experience in durable goods manufacturing industry recruiting with all sorts of jobs
  • Effective negotiating and organization skills
  • Extensive knowledge of applicant tracking software programs
  • Familiarity with online job hunting websites
  • Ability to travel when necessary (less than 25%)
  • Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work under time constraints and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Ability to navigate through complex project improvement initiatives
  • Able to work as part of a team and individually
