Intern, Human Resources  
York, PA

Summary – Voith US Inc. is looking for a Human Resources Intern to help support the Human Resources department. This Human Resources Intern will be responsible for the tasks included below. Ideally this role will be part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer months however Voith is open to alternate schedules.


Responsibilities –

  • Collaborates with HR colleagues to perform and support general HR tasks and projects
  • Helps support the onboarding process for new employees
  • Helps manage employee data and files
  • Maintain appropriate confidentiality in dealing with company and employee information
  • Learn and conduct stay and exit interviews and employee investigations as needed
  • Other HR tasks as assigned


Qualifications –

  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources


Physical Demands – The employee is frequently required to stand, sit and walk in an office environment from 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
