Summary
The incumbent in this job is a self-starting individual that is highly motivated to support automotive level commercial and technical processes. Knowledge and understanding of the company’s products will be required as well as a high work ethic, a personal commitment to meeting deadlines and willingness to work closely with other departments. The incumbent’s focus will be on supporting CV Inside Sales, both existing and future new business and aftermarket, through data entry and different processing of task as per sales and operations procedures. This position is also responsible to support customer’s requests for warranty parts and replacement warranty transmission.
Responsibilities
- Handling of Inside Sales functions for both new unit and aftermarket business according to Voith’s Offer to Order “OTO” Process to include:
- Creating offers and quotes for OEM new business as well as aftermarket.
- Entering and the release the Sales Orders,
- Sending order confirmations and customer order updates as delivery schedules change.
- Assists CV outside sales and customer service with order entry, creating order confirmations and the MCL process
- Point of contact for communication and follow-up with Planning department to ensure on-time Product Shipments
- Point of contact for OEM accounts as well as end customer emails and phone calls as it relates to open or pending orders.
- Point of contact for customers enrolled in the CV Customer Preformed Warranty “CPW” program to include:
- Document CPW claims and payments, both internal and external,
- Processing of warranty spare parts for customer repairs,
- Coordinating of service level 2 repairs with the VTI workshop and planning departments,
- Training new CPW customers on process and procedures.
- Executing and/or assisting the aftermarket department with support from the commercial manager with the MCL process
- Ensure customer satisfaction through internal support to ensure sales have what is needed in a timely manner
- Support OTO and OTC processes by ensuring sales, service, and orders fulfillment from assigned activities are run according to the defined procedures and processes
- Assists invoice collections and updates the service inventory planning. Help maintain cost and price database
- Other tasks and responsibility as assigned
Qualifications
- Fully fluent in English with very good communication and writing skills
- Strong focus on process details and accuracy
- 2-year degree in related field of a technical discipline
- Microsoft office, strong aptitude in MS Excel
- Ability to make presentations and reports to give to Outside sales, inside sales and management
- Minimum 2 years of automotive or mobility related experience or equivalent helpful
- Strong knowledge of using parts books (paper and web based), service and parts bulletins, understanding of parts supersessions to supply newest parts needed for end user.
- Previous experience of working in repair shop environment to help support potential technical parts questions from the end user.
