Production Engineering Intern

Summary:
Voith Turbo is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to join our Production Engineering Team in York, PA. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting assembly operations while developing real-world engineering skills. The Production Engineering Intern will work closely with Production Engineers to maintain and improve process documentation, support continuous improvement initiatives, and assist with operational excellence activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Production Engineers in updating and maintaining process documentation
- Support 5S, Operational Excellence, and Continuous Improvement initiatives on the production floor
- Help analyze and document production processes to improve efficiency and consistency
- Participate in problem-solving and process improvement activities
- Organize technical documents and engineering data using Microsoft Office tools
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering. Mechanical/Industrial or Electrical preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work collaboratively in both office and shop floor settings
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with 3D modeling, CAD software, or 3D printing
