Responsibilities:
- Identification and implementation of rationalization potentials (lean & digital) in production and assembly through lean management and digitalization.
- Co-creating the plan vision and supporting implementation and follow-up via e.g. Hoshin Kanri, master plan.
- Process Improvement: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize process improvement opportunities within various departments. Lead projects aimed at optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and increasing productivity using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, including setting objectives, defining deliverables, and tracking progress. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Use data-driven insights to drive decision-making and measure the success of improvement initiatives.
- Planning and optimization of production and logistics systems to increase operational profitability and efficiency in production.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on process improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques.( 5s, SFM, Value Stream Analysis & Design, Makigami, SFM, Problem Solving, SMED) Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement throughout the organization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and IT, to ensure alignment of improvement initiatives with organizational goals. Communicate progress and results to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Best Practices: Research and implement best practices and industry standards to enhance operational performance. Stay current with trends and developments in operational excellence and process improvement.
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with other related departments and the further development of the existing OpEx method toolkit together with the functional team in Central OpEx
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of processes, procedures, and improvement projects. Ensure that changes are properly documented and communicated to relevant teams.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field or applicable certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Certification).
- 5 years or more related experience required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Prolonged periods on the shop floor wearing steal toes
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
