Voith Hydro Inc. (VHY) is hiring for:

Mechanical Engineering Intern, Sping 2024 
York, Pennsylvania



This position assists a lead engineer in production and machine design including CAD work.



  • This internship opportunity is in our Engineering department. Interns will gain hands-on experience in mechanical and machine design.

  • Mechanical design and analysis of new and existing hydro turbine or hydro generator products

  • Prepare designs or modifications of full range of products

  • Investigate new concepts for practicality, economy, and operating efficiency

  • Operate CAD/CAE equipment to complete work assignments & create 3D solid models of components and assemblies. Assist Drafters with the use of 3D solid models


Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others to obtain effective results

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills



Enrolled in an accredited engineering program or CAD technology program
