Summary:
The role focuses on ensuring high‑quality, efficient, and customer‑oriented delivery of defined HR services within the region while further developing and scaling the HR GBS operating model. It includes leading and developing a high‑performing Regional HR GBS team and driving service excellence through compliance, automation, and process standardization. Success in this position also requires close collaboration with Regional HR, Global HR Operations, Regional GBS, and key business stakeholders to enable seamless, aligned service delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Service Delivery & Scope Expansion – approx. 30%
- Ensure efficient and high‑quality delivery of all defined HR services
- Manage the operational HR service portfolio (e.g. P&C Administration, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting Support, Mobility)
- Identify opportunities for service expansion (migration, insourcing, transfer from People BPs or the business)
- Promote a strong service culture within the team
2. Performance Management & Governance – approx. 20%
- Accountability for SLAs, KPIs, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
- Establish robust governance structures to safeguard process and service quality
- Secure and continuously improve data quality
3. Process Optimization & Efficiency – approx. 20%
- Standardize and harmonize P&C processes within the region
- Identify and implement optimization opportunities through automation, self‑services, and technology
- Evaluate efficiency and scalability options (e.g., outsourcing, best‑cost approaches)
- Support global process and operating‑model initiatives
4. People Leadership & Culture – approx. 20%
- Lead, coach, and develop a regional HR GBS team
- Build clear role profiles, competencies, and career paths
- Foster a performance‑oriented, service‑oriented, and collaborative culture
- Drive engagement, talent development, and succession planning
5. Stakeholder & Customer Management – approx. 10%
- Manage all key interfaces effectively (HR BPs, HR Centers of Expertise, Regional GBS, Business)
- Ensure a high‑quality service and customer experience
- Maintain proactive communication, expectation management, and escalation management
- Serve as a trusted partner to HR and business leadership
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in global HR Operations projects and transformation initiatives
- Support audits, internal controls, and risk assessments
- Prepare analyses, business cases, and management briefs
- Contribute to HR technology and digitalization initiatives
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Extensive leadership experience, ideally in (HR) Shared Services/ Global Business Solutions, or comparable HR operations environments
- Proven expertise in HR Administration, Payroll, HCM-Systems in North America; knowledge of regional compliance requirements is essential
- Experience in Dayforce, SAP/SuccessFactors and UKG PeopleDoc beneficial
- Experience with HR service transitions, migrations, and operating model transformations
- Strong background in process optimization, automation, and HR technology
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop big, diverse teams in a service-driven environment
