Area Manager, Maintenance

Summary –
The Area Manager, Maintenance is responsible for the maintenance of the plant, buildings and grounds, and all equipment. Primary duties include maintaining a safe and compliant work environment for all personnel. The Area Manager, Maintenance will ensure that site facilities, production machinery, and equipment meet or exceed production requirements while conforming to TPM, PMs, and regulatory requirements, at minimum operating costs. Floor Time – 60% or greater.
Responsibilities –
- Prioritizes maintenance activities and required resources
- Identifies training needs to improve reliability, performance, and KPI’s
- Driver of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and metrics
- Responsible for maintenance budget and Capital and Expense planning
- Accountable of meeting or exceeding business targets
Qualifications –
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related field) and/or 8 years relative experience
- 5+ years in manufacturing management
- Electrical Engineering / Controls experience is a preferred
- Experience managing a team preferred

- The employee is also required to talk and/or hear in a manufacturing setting (noise level is high). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an manufacturing environment from 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
