Head of People & Culture (m/f/d) South-West EMEA

Your tasks

  • Lead and develop the P&C organization across the EMEA South West regions, ensuring a high‑performing, business‑aligned and strategically driven People & Culture function.
  • Act as senior strategic advisor to regional and local leadership, aligning people strategy, organizational design, talent priorities and business needs.
  • Translate global P&C strategies and frameworks into effective regional implementation; ensure governance, compliance and consistent standards across all EMEA countries.
  • Drive core P&C processes across the employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, talent management, leadership development, succession and organizational effectiveness.
  • Oversee employee relations, collective labor topics and co‑determination processes together with Country P&C Leads, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure strong collaboration with global P&C Solutions (Talent & Culture, Rewards, TA, Learning, Leadership, HR Ops) and translate global solutions into regional execution.
  • Provide strategic direction to Regional People Business Partners to ensure integrated, high‑quality support for all businesses in the region.
  • Partner with GBS HR Operations to ensure efficient, harmonized and service‑oriented processes across the lifecycle.
  • Lead regional transformation, organizational development, cultural evolution and change initiatives supporting growth and resilience.
  • Promote digitalization, simplification and continuous improvement of P&C processes across the region.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, empowerment, diversity and leadership excellence.

 

Your profile

  • You have a completed degree in Business, Human Resources or a comparable field.
  • Several years of HR leadership experience in international, multi‑country environments.
  • Understanding of Southern Europe & North Africa labor markets and regulations.
  • Proven experience in leading HR teams and matrix organizations.
  • Expertise in transformation, change, organizational development and leadership topics, focus Development. 
  • High stakeholder management capability across complex intercultural environments.
  • Very good written and spoken English skills  as well as excellent communication, decision‑making skills and business orientation.
  • Ability to translate global frameworks into impactful regional solutions.

 

This position can be filled at any of our global Voith locations in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Morocco, South Africa, the UAE or Switzerland. The remote work policies will adhere to the regulations of the specific location where you are based - this is not a fully remote position.
