Your tasks

• Define global Industrial Engineering, Lean, and Standard Work principles.
• Develop and steer the global manufacturing footprint strategy.
• Design and optimize plant layouts and material flows.
• Plan and support ramp-up, ramp-down, build-up, and phase-out concepts.
• Prepare investment and amortization calculations for manufacturing systems.
• Take responsibility for annual manufacturing investment planning.
• Lead continuous Improvement projects and Process FMEA methodologies.
• Build systematic global lessons-learned processes and capability development.
• Support implementation of layout and process improvements and site transformations at the plant.
• Provide binding technical recommendations on footprint and investments, reporting to the Global Head of Manufacturing and collaborating closely with Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

Your profile

• Successfully completed degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in a comparable position as well as extensive hands-on leadership experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong shopfloor credibility, economic mindset, coaching skills.
• Six Sigma experience is desirable.
• High willingness to travel internationally (50%).
• Excellent English skills both written and spoken.

This position can be filled at any of our global Voith Hydro locations. The remote work policies will adhere to the regulations of the specific location where you are based - this is not a fully remote position.
