Hourly rate: $19.00 to $21.00/hour depending on experience

Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will perform various administrative related functions and carry out other related responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and distribute mail.
  • Call for service on office equipment and vending machines as needed.
  • Maintain office supplies.
  • Provide administrative support when necessary.
  • Greet customers, answer phones, and redirect calls.
  • Reviews ADP/E-Time for clock punch effort, discusses inaccuracies with Team Leaders and make corrections as necessary.
  • Assures that PTO, Leaves, and Holiday time are properly recorded.
  • Look over and approval payroll register for HRGBS.
  • Maintain hourly occurrences in database and notifies Team Leaders if employee has reached discipline level.
  • Work with HRGBS to provide information needed to maintain hourly personnel records.
  • Obtains missing new-hire paperwork from employee and submits to HRGBS. Prepares paperwork for and conducts new employee orientation. Works with HRBGS to resolve employee payroll issues.
  • Assists employees as needed when applying to HRGBS for FMLA, Parental Leave, or Cobra.
  • Directs employee to HRGBS or other sources for health insurance or related issues.
  • Main contact for the temporary staffing agencies and works with them to find potential new hires based on staffing needs as directed by the Manufacturing Manager.
  • Submits all temporary staffing timecards.
  • Administrative support for Accounting/Controlling.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma and a minimum of five years related experience.
