Summary
The Site Coordinator is responsible for assisting the field project team with various administrative aspects of day-to-day construction job site activities. The position will be located at Ludington Pumped Storage Plant, 15 minutes south of Ludington, MI.
Responsibilities
- Submit purchase order requisitions and coordinate purchases with site team, purchasing team and suppliers
- Process invoices and complete goods receipts
- Track site purchasing costs for project cost control
- Support site HR activities (hiring, layoff, union relation, …)
- Prepare employee/union mobilization including site access coordination, background checks, etc
- Validate timesheets and prepare payroll files and expenses for union employees
- Support site documentation
- Prepare reports and forecasts for project team and client
- Perform any other administrative tasks related to the site
Qualifications
- Certificates or degrees in Office Administration and/or Accounting preferred
- Previous demonstrated experience in construction administration for large construction projects.
- Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word). SAP knowledge is desirable.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment.

- The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an office environment from 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
- The vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus.
- The employee may be required to lift objects up to 50 lbs., climb ladders and perform other tasks related to an industrial environment.
- The employee may be required to access active work areas and don the following PPE: Hard hat, Safety toe shoes, protective eye wear, ear plugs, gloves and high visibility vest.
