The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the oversight and management of the maintenance department. Duties primarily fall under Project Engineering in the areas of project development and project management for the repair and reliability of production equipment. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the development, budgeting, and management of all capital projects. Vendor and equipment sourcing, installation and/or construction, and equipment commissioning, will be managed as required. This position also manages building and grounds maintenance for the local facility. Excellent troubleshooting and general problem-solving skills are a benefit.



  • Oversight of the Maintenance department, including directing Maintenance staff in daily tasks and planning Maintenance staff involvement in projects
  • Administrator of the CMMS, including planning and scheduling of work orders, spare parts inventory, and compliance with the calibration schedule.
  • Global reporting of environmental sustainability metrics, including gathering of necessary documents to demonstrate environmental impact of facility operation
  • Equipment troubleshooting to determine root cause of maintenance-related failures and problems with aptitude for redesign for improved reliability
  • Project budgeting, including estimating total cost for budget development
  • Project developing, including defining scope, obtaining preliminary quotes and technical data, and CAD drawing as required
  • Vendor and equipment sourcing, including obtaining preliminary quotes, bidding out as required, and writing requisitions for equipment and contractor services
  • Installation and/or construction, including timeline coordination with Production and site management, vendor coordination for onsite services, and oversight of contractors and vendor
  • Equipment commissioning, including testing and verification that equipment complies with vendor-stated specifications and troubleshooting, as required, when equipment fails to meet the specifications
  • Hires and coordinates training of maintenance staff as required



  • 4-year Engineering degree from an accredited university, Mechanical or Electrical preferred
  • At least 3 years Project engineering required.
  • Maintenance experience preferred.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
  • Ability to plan maintenance schedules.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • AutoCAD LT experience preferred.


Physical Demands

  • Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose equipment or facility issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
