Summary: The Manager of HSE & Quality leads all Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE), and Quality functions within the facility. This role ensures regulatory compliance, fosters a strong safety culture, and maintains effective quality management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Health Safety and Environmental (HSE):

- Promote and sustain a proactive HSE culture to reduce incidents and risk.
- Manage operational and environmental permits and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate and organize compliance safety training.
- Develop and review Job Safety Analysis, Risk, and Ergonomic assessments.
- Process incident reports and investigations, manage worker’s compensation claims and return to work programs.
- Coordinate safety audits.
- Analyze/report monthly KPI's and tracking of corrective actions.
- Oversee and manage of all required legal requirements.
- Support corporate HSE activities.
- Quality:

- Monitor Quality systems by reporting, investigating and correcting conditions in manufacturing processes that result in non-conformances (NCRs).
- Manage internal audit program and quality initiatives.
- Assist with customer complaints, root cause investigation, and follow up of corrective actions.
- CMM management, calibration, training, and maintenance and managing the IMS system to meet ISO and Voith requirements.
- Coordinate internal quality audits.
- Monthly KPI analysis and tracking of corrective actions.
- Manage document control system.
- Manage product quality, including response to product restarts/rejects, investigations, etc.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent safety and health track record in programs and processes.
- Prior labor relations experience is a plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in HSE and/or Quality roles.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
