For the [Voith Hydro], department [Generator Engineering], we are looking for you as a Senior Generator Design Engineer

  • To perform system and component design to ensure compliance with Voith Hydro standards and customer specifications
  • Provide expertise in the field of mechanical design of generator products including the finite elements analysis and analytic analysis of the components
  • Investigate, analyze and solve a variety of challenging and unique engineering problems
  • Coordination and supports to operating units and functional departments in project management,  sourcing, manufacturing, quality, field service and commissioning internally. Communication to the customer and sub-supplier externally.
  • Participation of professional training at home and/or abroad

  •  Master's degree or above, subject to Mechanical Engineering or Dynamics
  • at least 5 years’ experience in mechanical analysis
  • Priority of candidate: hydro generation equipment design, expertise in bearing and ventilation design, English fluency
  • Fluent English both in writing and speaking
  • Skilled in documentation
  • Skilled in finite element analysis
