Key Account Manager 


Your tasks

As a PDM you will be responsible for

· Supporting the regional strategy to grow new business in the field of Oil & Gas and Power as well as future industry applications

· Supporting the cooperate strategies VT2030+ (CCUS, NPP, Biofuels, H2 etc.) to grow new business in the in energy shaping transition as well as future industry applications

· Finding new customers and build up business relationships in white spot areas in China

· Gaining market knowledge, find opportunities and develop complex O&G and Power projects in the upstream, midstream, and downstream segment.

· Coordinating all required actions internally and externally to be successful especially in Pre-Feed and FEED phases to get the Voith technology specified ensure a smooth transition of a project until the final investment decision and execution with support of the GAS team

· Developing relationships with various decision makers within complex accounts

· Maintaining relationships to all relevant stakeholders such as end-users, engineering consultants, EPCs and design institutes to ensure the success over the entire project lifetime

· Providing voice of the customer feedback to adjacent teams within the Voith organization to drive the external focus of the organization


Your Profile

· Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or Diploma / Master) from an accredited university in mechanical, industrial engineering or electrical engineering

· Ideally 5-8 years professional business experience in technical sales in the field of the Oil & Gas market

· Deep technical knowledge of products (related to rotating equipment/turbomachinery e.g. centrifugal compressors 1MW – 50 MW and pumps (main focus) incl. of drivers such as electric motors, gas or steam turbines, gearboxes and opportunity to deeply understand applications of customers

· Strong experience in entering untapped markets and generating new business

· Strong experience of relations establishment and conducting commercial and technical negotiations on various levels of decision makers (specialists, middle management level, C-level)

· Enthusiasm for consultation-intensive mechanical and electrical systems

· Expertise with preferably network in Oil & Gas and Power Industry sector

· Ability to travel up to 50%

· Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
