  • Commissioning mobilization

Team build up, coordination with Head of field service department and PMr, select commissioning team member, organization commissioning kick off meeting.

Review drawing, commissioning manual, and ITP.

Mastery contract requirement and commissioning schedule

Prepare testing and commissioning tools, equipment.

  • Controlling commissioning schedule

Coordinate with PMr, Site Manager and client as well as client’s Engineer to create commissioning schedule.

According to the site actual situation update and maintenance schedule per weekly.

Prepare Daily report and distribution to relevant department.

  • Execution commissioning.

Organization and coordination with commission engineers, sub-suppliers commissioning engineers to review master commissioning schedule, commissioning procedures, and create detail commissioning plan, be sure all of involve testing and commissioning engineers and labors manage what testing will be done every day.

  • Commissioning quality and planning control

Leading and controlling commissioning quality and schedule, management overtime working or increase more shift if necessary

  • Critical issue resolve

Coordination with commissioning engineers to resolve critical issue which might be happened during execution commissioning process.

  • Record and protocol management

Coordination with commissioning engineers to clearly define what data, parameters should be recorded before performing test.

Review protocol with individual commissioning engineer after test was done, to check the data in the protocol, record met drawing, commissioning procedure and contract requirement.

Make the decision if necessary repeat testing in case of some data did not achieve drawing, standard and contract requirement.

  • Create testing and commissioning report.

Coordination with commissioning to create commissioning report according to the contract requirement and distribution to the relevant parties after each unit commissioning have been completed.

Coordination with Site Manager to create Punch list in testing and commissioning partial.



  • Bachelor degree required; Major in engineering preferred.
  • 10+ year experience in Hydro power turbine & Generator and its auxiliary equipment installation and commissioning relevant experience, hydro power project management experience preferred.
  • Leadership role within hydro or other power generation plant design, operation and/or maintenance.
  • Product Knowledge
  • Understand Turbine, Generator and BoP mechanical products, and basic Hydraulic Power unit structure knowledge, can use these for practice.

  • Design Know-How
  • Understand specifications including MGS and QS, dimensional tolerance of the drawing, and has the ability to identify the errors and advise/communicate with Engineering to correct.

  • Testing/Commissioning Knowledge
  • Be familiar with hydro plant equipment such as turbine, generator and BOP installation, mastery commissioning process. Mastery commissioning procedure, specification, general tools and standards.

  • Technical commissioning Skills
  • Mastery integral units commissioning process, procedure standard; be familiar with main process of individual commissioning. Know how to handling FNCR.

  • Commercial Skills
  • Possess basic commercial acknowledge, understand commercial partial of contract, have sensitive    potential commercial risk.

  • Finance Skills (Budget, cost control)
  • Be familiar with site management budget; understand company financial policies and financial process.

  • Project Management Skills (Planning-Cost-Quality-Safety-Delivery)
  • Be familiar with site budget, contract master schedule, each member of site team  person characteristic,

    Can create properly site master installation schedule and know how following schedule. Understand company delivery process.

  • Problem Solving and Preventing Skills
  • Master detail process of treating FNCR in home office, knowing how to handle FNCR in job site.

  • Reporting Skills
  • Complete the reports based on the required format and express the analytic process and solutions clearly and logically by oral and written.

  • IT Office Skills
  • Mastery with office software such as Microsoft, PDM,MS Project or Primavera.

  • English Language Skills
  • Be able to read, write, listen and speak in English for general communication and understanding of English materials.
