Responsibilities:
- Engineering work for automation related aspects of hydro power plant (CSCS, relay protection, T+G instruments and auxiliary control, digital governor, valve/gate control, Excitation etc., specific area of work for individual varies per business demands.), including HW/SW design, FAT and site commissioning.
- Fully responsible that the delivered product is engineered to the contract and that cost, schedule and quality expectations are met.
- Responsible running the appropriate engineering processes that assure the quality of the engineering deliverables with full compliance with both external contract and internal requirements.
- Responsible for on time or early deliverable of engineering deliverables against key project milestones including; Bill of Material release, Design Reviews, Release for Manufacturing and shop assembly and field testing tasks.
- Identify and document technical risks and escalate issues as appropriate to the head of Engineering and the project management team so that Voith is not exposed to unusual risk or liability.
- Technical communication with customer including being able to communicate complex technical concepts and status to the customer during project execution. Active in negotiating appropriate technical solutions to problems that arise during project execution.
- Travel to domestic and abroad site for commissioning and technical service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or above in Automation engineering
- At least 3 Years progressive experience in Electric or Automation design and/or Commissioning (Energy Industry preferred)
- Experience on PLC programming and HMI design (Siemens PCS7 preferred)
- Experience on HW engineering tool such as EB/CAD/EPLAN/COMOS
- Fluent oral and written English
- Proficiency with MS-office software;
