Responsibilities:

 

        • Take regional business lead and drive sales for Voith Turbo Industry Division in China (for After Market Business and New Built together with specific product-sales-teams)
        • Develop regional organization and optimize footprint
        • Define the sales and service setup and structure in accordance with the global standards
        • Provide market intelligence and strategic inputs for Business Development / Product Management
        • Implement sales and business strategy / planning
        • Input for local market and competitor analysis
        • Control sales KPIs (aligned with divisional / Voith Turbo guidelines) and ensure sustainable and profitable growth
        • Secure existing customer base and acquisition of new clients
        • Provide inputs for Sales Excellence; implement Sales Excellence approach
        • Ensure implementation of mainly OTO but also OTC processes
        • Regional / local contract and pricing negotiation, incl. cash management (in alignment with Product Management, Commercial Operations)
        • Coordination of commercial and technical risk management
        • Implement relevant sales tools, KPIs, standard forms, etc. developed and provided by Sales Excellence and Product Management
        • Drive new applications (mainly existing products in new applications) and new products within your region in collaboration with specific product-sales-teams
        • Coordinate and ensure product, sales, and service trainings
        • Conduct service sales and field service, following guidelines and standards defined by divisional service function
        • Recognize new product and service opportunities - input to BD and Service Sales of products, services and spare parts incl. margin and volume responsibility
        • Projects follow-up (project list) in alignment with other regions, e.g., for export and multi-national projects
        • Build up contacts to local consultants, authorities, and associations in cooperation with the SVP Sales, local CFO and Regional Market Intelligence
        • Organize and optimize channel partner management
        • Assure lobbying and proactive influence through MarCom initiatives

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in implementing and controlling a sales strategy in China.
  • 10 years in leading sales role.
  • Experience in Mechanical Drive Technology is desired, not excluding.
  • Strong leadership skill to lead experienced Sales professionals.
  • Strategic sales personality, with negotiation skills and problem-solving competence. distinguish you.
  • Willingness to travel Nationally and Internationally (30-40%)

  • Location: Beijing or Shanghai
  • Fluent English is a prerequisite, excluding.
