Your tasks
You will support our team in the development and qualification of our suppliers to automotive standards, ensuring QM processes and increasing efficiency. Your tasks will include carrying out new supplier validations, potential analyses and process audits (VDA 6.3) with classification of suppliers with regard to the manufacturability of complex parts/components.
In addition, you will evaluate the quality planning (APQP) for new product/process start-ups with support for production start-ups from prototypes to initial sampling at our suppliers. You will be responsible for identifying optimization potential to stabilize production processes as well as increasing flexibility and delivery performance (Opex).
You will also be responsible for capacity analyses (Run@Rate) for production start-ups and relocations as well as the negotiation and conclusion of quality assurance agreements and ppm target values.
In addition, you will support the Voith Turbo regions (e.g. India, China) in setting up supplier management.


Your profile
You have a degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or further training as a technician with professional experience in the aforementioned field.
Initial professional experience in supplier management is an advantage
Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and VDA is desirable, ideally you also have a qualification as a QM auditor
In addition to knowledge of quality management methods, you also have experience in common quality methods such as 8D systems, Six Sigma, Poka Yoke, FMEA, etc.
We require business fluent written and spoken German and English.
A high degree of flexibility with regard to willingness to travel for supplier visits (approx. 30%) is a matter of course for you.
