Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Set up/Optimize the purchasing management policies and processes.
• Ensure availability of adequate and qualified suppliers in line with demand forecast.
• Identify and develop new suppliers to ensure a reliable and competitive supply chain.
• Develop and improve supplier capabilities and performance.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best possible pricing and payment terms.
• Analyze company purchasing costs and market trends to identify potential cost savings or areas for improvement.
• Define OTO and OTC sourcing strategy for OU projects, and support in cost estimation and review for OTO.
• Work with other functions to ensure on-time delivery of all materials and components.
• Daily purchasing team management: set up goals, enable and develop team members, strengthen team communication and collaboration, improve team efficiency.
• Ensure purchasing activities are compliant with company policies and procedures.
• Coordination with GBS Purchasing and global Purchasing functions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years work experiences of purchasing in manufacturing industry (Hydro Power industry preferred), with 3 years or above experiences in team management.
• Experience of annual purchasing value 600M RMB or above.
