Key Responsibilities
- Building strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and internal business partner, individually and throughout cross-functional teams
- Finding new suppliers in China and South East Asia for assigned commodities to support BCC( Best Cost Country) strategy.
- Collaborate with Global MGM or project sourcing to obtain RFQ opportunity.
- Make Inquiries and supplier selection according to sourcing strategy
- Negotiate and sign contract with supplier (including Frame agreement, QAA, GPC etc)
- Define sourcing strategy to optimize, integrate supplier base and drive commodity productivity
- Support on purchase process optimization and drive PurONE application
- Drive localization ratio, e-bidding with regional sourcing team
- Organize events like supplier day and coordinate relevant parties.
- Working with operation team to better align supply chain
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Business, Supply Chain, or Mechanical Engineering
- Familiar with South East Asia supply resource and market
- 5+ years of procurement/sourcing experience with minimum 3-years Global sourcing (IPO)
- Experience with casting/forging/toothing products are also a plus
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications is preferred
- Experience with purchase excellence, project management is preferred
- Willing to travel to Countries in South East Asia, 5-10%
- Fluent in English speaking and writing, German is a plus
