Responsibilities
• Develop and implement sales strategy, contributing Sales Targets both in New Business and Service Sales in global project business and in alignment with Focus Sales Area, among other areas.
• Mentor, manage and motivate Sales team in Brazil Region to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues. Accountability in P/L.
• Ensure Voith Industry products to be on Approved Vendor List (AVL) and get Voith technology specified.
• Act/ Promote the role of global sales coordinator within assigned area of responsibility, develop and align bidding strategy and ensure execution accordingly.
• Conduct & support Business Planning, typically a two-year final plan and pre-plan by providing market and customer intelligence and knowledge
• Team lead in Brazil for Front End Sales, Inside Sales and After Market.
• Steer and execute pro-active sales in Mining and Power, Oil & Gas Industries within assigned region with existing and new accounts on the Brazilean Market (Petrobras and Vale).
• Handling and resolving customer complaint regarding a product or service.
• Close collaboration and maintain communications between regional sales, focus sales, administration, support functions, marketing, supply chain, HR and other personnel as well as customer and supplier.
• Frequent business trips (domestic and overseas) within own responsibilities representing Voith.
• Be part of the management Committee of Voith Turbo Brazil.
• Lead and/or support in VT2030
• Attend workshops, customer events, exhibitions, conferences, run papers, marketing campaigns, etc. and execute presentations about Voith specific contents in front of customers, partners and other stakeholders.
• Support regional marketing activities for products and services (e.g. through trade fairs).
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in all aspect of planning, implementing, and controlling a sales strategy in the Mining and/ or Power, Oil& Gas Market.
• 10 years in leading sales role.
• Experience in Mechanical Drive Technology is desired, not excluding.
• Strong analytical skill to identify trends and sales patterns
• Re Fluent English is a prerequisite.
• Strategic sales personality, with negotiation skills and problem-solving competence. distinguish you.
• Willingness to travel Nationally and Internationally (50%)
