Summary:

You will be responsible for the co-development of strategy and leading the execution of the strategic plan to grow Voith’s after-market business (AMB) in stock preparation. There is an immediate opportunity and focus on growing Voith’s market share and position in the refining area.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Your tasks include technological and technical sales support for FES (Fiber & Environmental Solutions including enhancing the field sales confidence and capabilities to capture the targeted market growth.
  • You will take over the evaluation of inquiries and develop a customer-oriented solution concept in the OTO phase (Offer to Order). You will also be responsible to ensure the solutions are implemented in a way to maximize success, OTC (Order to Cash).
  • In this position, you will act as a link to our customers as well as to our internal departments such as sales, product and project management, purchasing, shipping, design, and service.
  • You are responsible for the timely preparation of offers based on value creation and profitability; In addition, you will be responsible for the risk assessment of the solution concepts developed.
  • You will carry out market analyses (e.g. competitive situation, market price information) and contribute to strategically aligning our product portfolio according to market requirements in close cooperation with product management.
  • You will ensure the sales and profit of the products and initiate proactive sales activities to gain further market share.
  • You will also provide professional technological support for our sales department, support presentations/workshops/trainings at our customers' sites, in-house, at trade fairs or conferences.
  • In addition, you will accompany development projects and support new product launches, including product marketing.
  • Conducting audits, technological customer support, trouble shootings and optimization interventions give you the opportunity to generate further opportunities.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • You are a team player with good influencing skills and a track record of solid collaboration.
  • We require very good knowledge and extensive experience in the field of stock preparation with customer contact.
  • Your handling of MS Office, SAP, CAMOS, Paper Front is routine.
  • Your written and verbal English skills are good; Spanish would be an advantage.
  • You are willing to travel internationally for business.
  • Your profile is rounded off by an independent way of working as well as strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work in a team.

 

Education and Experience:

  • You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the papermaking area, ideally stock preparation, having successfully completed a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Experience, or a demonstrated ability, to work with digital solutions is also a plus.
  • You have experience in a technical sales role including creating and delivering value-based solutions to customers. You are experienced in dealing directly with the customer to present solutions and take responsibility within the scope of your tasks.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
