Full Stack Developer - Frontend (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • Take on responsibility for the development/implementation of web application components for Industrial IoT applications.
  • Develop and establish reference platform components.
  • Translate high-level design requirements into well-structured, optimized codes.
  • Identify, create and use best practices and reusable elements.
  • Capture new technological toolchain/implementation trends for next-generation web applications.
  • Foster innovation by explore, investigate, recommend, benchmark and implement data centric technologies for the platform.
  • Align with Product Management team regarding customer use cases.
  • Guide and mentor (learn and grow with) developers on various tasks.
  • Work effectively with other local and global development teams.
  • Support of existing applications (agile software development using scrum method for highly available web based online applications). 
  • Take on responsibility for performance and web availability of developed applications.
  • Connect to and integrate of external systems using state of the art technologies.

 

Your profile

  • Degree in computer science, a related discipline or comparable qualification with affinity for IT technologies. 
  • At least 5+ years of relevant work experience with some of the following technologies: Node.js, AngularJS, CSS3, SASS, HTML 5, Express.js, React, Redux or Docker.
  • Good skills in SQL and NoSQL databases (e. g. MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.) with true DevOps mindset (ability to own a complete toolchain/functional area - from development approach to complete support/going alongside the fast pace of new technological development).
  • Experience in one of the following areas is desirable: Code reviews, continuous integration e. g. Gitlab, Gitlab Runners or similar versioning tools.
  • Experience in working in an agile environment (e. g. scrum framework) and of “Best practices” of the Angluar Framework (e. g. LazyLoading and/or Single Page Applications on base of React and Redux).
  • Fundamentals of testing in an agile environment and ability to work in a fast paced environment with focus on test driven development and CI/CD.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Fluent in English is a must. German or other additional languages are beneficial.
  • Strong desire to learn a variety of technologies and processes with a "can do" attitude.
  • Analytical, conceptual skills and open minded to new ideas and concepts.
