Tasks & responsibilities

  • During the 24-months program you work - beside the 1 month integration phase - on two different assignments:
    • Commissioning/Optimization -  20 months in various projects and countries
    • Application - 3 months
  • The main focus of the program is that you get to know our products and technology concepts and that you learn about the needs and requirements of our customers. Therefore you will spend the main time of the 2 year program within the commissioning assignment.
  • During your assignment in Application you will learn quote and machine related aspects (e.g. contractual, incoterms, technology,  warranties, prices are made).
  • Furthermore you get to know the Voith Paper Fiber Systems and Wet End Process Business in detail and how this business fits together with the Paper-/ and Tissue Machines.
  • You are accompanied by a mentor (m/f/d) who acts as a partner for you taking care of your development and professional career within Voith Paper.
  • Individually agreed development trainings will be defined depending on your qualification and background.

 

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in paper technology or process engineering/technology/mechanical engineering.
  • You are ambitious, globally mobile, and bring along entrepreneurial drive and thinking.
  • Your personal strengths are enthusiasm, openness to new and challenging tasks and experiences, self-motivation and motivation of others, curiosity, team-work, cross-cultural communication and intercultural awareness.
  • Preferential you already have gained professional experience through internships during your studies and/or an employment of after graduation.
  • You have already gained international experience.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written.
