Summary –  The Head of Regional Spares Business is responsible for leading and growing the regional Spare Parts (SPARES) business, with full accountability for orders, sales, profitability, and EBIT performance. This role drives the execution of the global product line strategy within the region by developing business plans, expanding market opportunities, managing the regional portfolio, and ensuring strong business governance. The position works closely with Sales, Service Execution, Project Management, and other cross-functional teams to secure new business, deliver customer value, and achieve financial objectives. The successful candidate combines strong commercial acumen, strategic leadership, and operational expertise to drive sustainable growth and continuous improvement in a complex industrial environment.

 

Responsibilities –

 

  • Own the regional Business Case performance for SPARES (Spare Parts), taking responsibility the SPARES Business overall and achieving Orders received, Profit on Orders received, sales and EBIT in alignment with the global product line strategy.
  • Steer & coordinate demands towards cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Service Execution, Project Management) to implement strategic measures and drive the successful acquisition and delivery of product line-specific projects
  • Ensure business governance and strategic consistency, including adherence to defined processes, governance rules, and alignment with global product line owner and regional management.
  • Define and achieve regional business case goals. Translate them into actionable targets and initiatives and ensure consistent progress through regular tracking and alignment with functional leads.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize the regional business case portfolio, including pipeline building, market positioning, and development of new offerings
  • Create Tangible deliverables that help service sales managers partner with customers resulting in financial growth

Qualifications –

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field, preferably with exposure to energy or industrial service business.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience in managing business cases, sales, service, or project‑driven environments within an OEM or similar industrial setting.
  • Proven track record of P&L and business segment ownership, including accountability for orders received, sales performance, and profitability (OP/EBIT).
  • Strong experience in steering and aligning cross‑functional teams across Sales, Project Management, and Service Execution in a matrix organization.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with solid knowledge of governance, business processes, and portfolio management at regional and global level.
  • Business‑fluent English with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; international experience is considered a strong asset.
