Sales Coordinator

Overview
The Sales Coordinator supports the Hydro Power Service (“HyService”) organization by contributing to customer intelligence, market development, service portfolio positioning, and CRM-driven pipeline management.
This role is ideal for a candidate who wants hands‑on exposure to maintenance services, spare parts, repairs, refurbishments, digital solutions, assessments, and Service growth strategies grounded in the HyService portfolio
Key Responsibilities
1. CRM & Salesforce Pipeline Management
- Maintain, update, and track service opportunities, leads, and service scopes (Spare Parts, Repairs, LTSA, Maintenance, Digital) within Salesforce dashboards and pipelines used by HyService teams.
- Perform data quality checks and support alignment with the defined HyService portfolio structure and customer segments
- Prepare CRM-based reports on pipeline evolution, customer engagement activities, and service-hit rates for Service Managers.
2. Maintenance Plan Support & Asset Insights
- Review customer maintenance plans, inspection overviews, and annual maintenance activities to identify opportunities for:
- inspections
- minor & major overhauls
- spare parts
- refurbishment & upgrades
- digital monitoring or advisory support
- Consolidate data on fleet age, condition, and past maintenance to help build service proposals that reflect customer needs and asset health.
3. Service Portfolio Positioning & Selection
- Support mapping of the HyService portfolio—including Maintenance, Operations Support, Spare Parts, Diagnosis & Repair, Upgrades, Consulting, Digital Services—to customer segments such as:
- Public utilities
- IPPs
- Co-operatives
- Municipalities
- Financial investors
- Assist in selecting the optimal service products based on:
- customer maturity
- plant condition
- location constraints
- willingness to outsource
- regulatory considerations
- Help prepare value propositions for the selected service offerings.
4. Market Intelligence & Installed Base Analysis
- Conduct structured research on customer fleets, installed capacity, and market potential using Service market sizing files and internal datasets.
- Track service-related market developments, competitor movements, and customer priorities.
- Support business case creation for service hubs, regional growth, and strategic initiatives.
5. Business Development Operations
- Prepare presentations, customer communication materials, and service proposal inputs for Service leadership.
- Support pipeline reviews, internal alignment meetings, and regional service strategy sessions.
- Assist with administrative and analytical tasks for Service Managers, Service Directors, and growth initiative owners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, Economics, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Interest in hydropower technology, maintenance, and industrial service models.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience (internship or junior role) in Service business, energy equipment, or industrial B2B sectors.
- Understanding of hydropower maintenance, repair, and operations workflows.
- Familiarity with digital monitoring or condition-based maintenance tools.
