Parts Specialist
Oakville, Ontario
Reporting to the North America Spare Parts Manager, the Parts Specialist is responsible for the development, deployment, and execution of Voith Hydro Spares Parts related products and services, supporting the HyServices team in North America, which include:
The Parts Specialist is responsible for the development of Spare Parts proposals and to execute such orders for Hydroelectric plant operators in Canada and the USA, owning the process from receiving the purchase order from the customer to the delivery of parts.
- Service Managers will introduce the Parts Specialist for all stand-alone parts supply point of contact;
- Develop of Spare Parts Contracts and Proposals;
- Reviewing, amending, and negotiating contracts and commercial agreements;
- Execution of these projects from booking of the order to final invoicing for parts delivered;
- Coordinate and drive all parties involved including the HyService OPEX Service Managers, Engineering, Sourcing, Logistics, Digital & Automation, and other applicable departments.
- Product Reintroduction;
- Client-Managed Inventory Programs;
- Vendor-Managed Inventory Programs;
- Kitting Solutions;
- Global Support for Spare Parts initiative;
- Support the Spare Parts Manager in driving growth through Business Case Spares;
The preferred candidate for this position will have a Technical Diploma and will have few years of experience in similar position preferably in a hydro generator’s environment. He/she will display a proven track record in heavy, capital intensive, machinery operations, spare parts, maintenance services and contracts. Previous hydroelectric and/or power generation experience an asset.
