Roll Mechanic
Neenah, WI
Starting wages of $28.00/hour. Up to $35.00/hour for extremely well qualified individuals. This is a second shift position. Work a set shift. No rotation.

Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, inspect, evaluate, recommend repairs for a wide array of paper machine rolls/rotating equipment.
- Inspect and measure parts to determine conformance to specifications through use of precision measuring equipment.
- Confer with engineers, production personnel, or others as needed to satisfactorily resolve recommended roll preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Perform agreed upon roll preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Reassemble rolls after repairs and maintenance.
- Perform all job requirements according to procedures as outlined in the VOITH Quality Manual, Company Procedures, and Work Instructions.
- Reports problems to higher levels of authority as required by the Quality System.
- All other duties that may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Must possess good mechanical aptitude.
- Previous assembly, mechanical maintenance, paper machine roll service, or millwright experience is desired.
- High School graduate or equivalent is required.
- Vocational school graduate or apprenticeship in machining, millwright, mechanical maintenance, or equivalent is desired, but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings is a plus.
