Voith Paper is hiring for:

Helper  
Neenah, WI

Pay range: $23.50 to $24.75 per hour. This is a 2nd shift opening.

Responsibilities:

Paint roll parts.  Prepare and wrap rolls for shipping.  Buff roll shells. Wash roll shells and boxes.  Assist in loading and unloading trucks.  Assist in loading and unloading machines.  Prepare and skid parts for shipment.  Bring shipping containers and skids from outside to crate rolls.  Load and unload rolls from saddles.  Assist in other departments as needed.

• Perform all job requirements and functions according to procedures as outlined in the VOITH Quality Manual, Company Procedures, Work Instructions and Specifications.
• Control processes to maintain conformance to specifications.
• Inspects and measures part to determine conformance to specifications through use of precision measuring equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Proper use of PPE for specific tasks related to each manufacturing operation.
• If designated, perform functions covered under the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) for shipping and receiving Hazardous materials.  Required to take Hazardous material (Hazmat) transportation training in accordance with the United States Department of Transportation (DOT). 
• Adhere to all Safety and Environmental policies and rules.
• All other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements:

• General understanding of Operating Procedures as assigned.
• The ability to read and understand the Work Instructions and Production Specifications.
• Capable and willing to perform all helper duties.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate all fork trucks and cranes safely.
• Strong housekeeping skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to accurately and safely work with chemicals used in the manufacturing plant.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
• Excellent reading comprehension skills.
• 2-Year vocational degree beneficial.
