Inside Sales Representative 
Mississauga 
 

Summary Description

 

Support internal and external customers with quoting, order entry, project management and purchasing in a demanding customer service oriented environment, and provide interface between customers, outside sales, service and operations teams.

 

Major responsibilities and Activities

 

Customer Service: 

  • Support customers via phone or email with RFQs and all other inquiries
  • Liaison with suppliers or internal teams (locally / internationally) in order to effectively and expediently support customer inquiries
  • Provide spare parts quotes to customers

 

Project Management:

  • Accurate and detailed order entry in ERP system (Navision) of spare parts, units and service orders
  • Manage all open orders in order to maintain or exceed the customer’s delivery dates, quality and technical expectations
  • Create and expedite purchase orders for inventory and order demands in order to minimize delays

 

Operations:

  • Participate in 6S  audit and facility maintenance initiatives
  • Support with HSE projects and continuous maintenance of documentation and systems
  • Responsible for a minimum of 5 operations tasks
  • Support inventory level analysis and adjustments to ensure accuracy and maintain stock levels
  • Support with continuous improvement efforts of OPNs and SOPs in order to standardize, increase efficiency and reduce errors.
 
Other Duties as assigned
 
All tasks above must be performed with strict adherence to Voith OPNs, SOPs, directives, guidelines and 
authority matrix.

 

Requirements and abilities

 

  • Technical Diploma preferred
  • Minimum 1 years of experience working in a similar industry (mechanical rotating equipment) preferred.
  • Fluent in English with good communication skills
  • General knowledge of mechanical equipment
  • Travel within Canada and internationally for training or work
