Responsibilities:
- Receiving purchase requisitions from operational procurement manager
- Submitting purchase demand to Strategic Sourcing Engineer for enquiry and negotiation bundling
- Receiving negotiation result from Strategic Sourocing Engineer
- Preparing and issuing purchase orders in SAP
- Ensuring the purchase orders are issued in time to Suppliers
- Ensuring the good quality of purchasing documents and data in SAP
- Obtaining order confirmation from supplier and storing it in SAP
- Supporting strategic sourcing engineer if necessary to enquiry suppliers, negotiate and conclude contracts
- Managing supplier capacity forecast and planning with key / strategic suppliers to optimize financial and operational performance
- Follow up of Supplier Qualification status
- Supply risk assessments and initiation of adequate supplier evaluation together with Quality, Engineering and Logistics.
- Handling complaints with suppliers and forwarding non conformance cost to suppliers
- Arranging the payment to supplier in due time
- Adhering strictly to Voith policies and regulations (e.g. Code of Conducts, internal trade rules, etc.)
Requirements:
- Proven record of driving results.
- Strong problem solving capability. Able to analyze & structure complex issues & develop operational & organizational solutions.
- Possess proactive rather than a reactive style of conducting business.
- Proficiency in commanding English; German is an additional advantage.
