Responsibilities:

• Lead projects in the field of sensor systems for the QCS.
• Develop and adapt measurement techniques and sensor systems.
• Develop new applications for existing sensor and measurement techniques.
• Test and implement new measurement techniques and sensor systems in field trials.
• Support the local and global organization with your expertise.
• Regular coordination with the international R&D team

Requirements:

• MSc or PhD in physics or engineering in a relevant domain related to measurement technologies, e.g. optronics and image processing.
• First work experience in relevant fields (company or university)
• Solid spoken and written English
• Education or experience in the field of pulp and paper industry is an asset.
• Initial work experience in relevant positions in a company or university is an advantage.
• Good technical understanding and quick comprehension
• Goods analytical skills
• Good social and communication skills
• Willing to work in laboratory / office and in the field, including customer sites.
• Knowledge or experience in the field of pulp and paper industry is advantageous.
• A good command in English, both verbal and written are essential.
