Responsibilities:

Design Engineer

  • Perform basic and detail design for paper machine and/or fiber system
  • Create 3D model, 2D drawing and establish bill of material, material masters and quality specifications
  • Carry out basic mechanical calculation of single parts like stress analysis
  • Create compose technical documents
  • Deliver design result in accordance with project schedule, budget and quality requirement
  • Perform field measurements in case of rebuild
  • To lead and coordinate internal and external designers, to complete projects, alignment of project milestones and fulfill with milestones, fulfill with budget and quality requirement, in case necessary

Sr. Design Engineer

In addition to routine work as design engineer, following responsibility has to be fulfilled:

  • lead and coordinate internal and external designers, to complete projects, fulfill with project schedule, budget and quality requirement.

Requirements:

Design Engineer:

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical engineering or related
  • 1-3 year experience in non-standard design such as heavy/light/marine industry, etc.
  • Relevant design experience in paper machine is preferred

Sr. Design Engineer:

  • More than 7 years design experience in directly related field, e.g. paper industry
  • Workable English both in oral and written, fluent English is preferred
  • Familiar with 3D CAD system such as Inventor, ProE, Solidworks, etc.
  • General knowledge of mechanical design , manufacture process and material
  • Preferably: General knowledge in large steel structures and welding technology
  • Preferably: Familiar with SAP
