Job Description:
Your tasks

As Regional Sales Manager, you will be our primary contact person and business partner for the aftermarket within paper production facilities and stock preparation. You will act as the key interface between Voith and our customers, where your main focus will be to drive sales, achieve profitability targets, and build long-term, strategic relationships. You will work independently and closely with customers across a large geographical area, supported by local service teams and technical experts in both Sweden and Germany.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales and Growth: Responsible for achieving sales and profitability targets within your regional area.
  • Business Development and Contracts: Sales of maintenance and spare parts, rebuilds, as well as developing long-term service and aftermarket agreements.
  • Needs Analysis and Tailored Solutions: Identify customer challenges and develop customized technical concepts in close cooperation with our product specialists.
  • Market Intelligence and Representation: Analyze the market, competitor activities, and pricing. Represent Voith professionally at customer presentations, workshops, and trade fairs.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Support development projects, participate in product launches, and contribute to Voith Paper's long-term strategy.

You will report directly to the Sales & Operations Director for Voith Paper in Karlstad.


Your profile

We are looking for someone who is highly sales- and goal-oriented with a distinct commercial mindset. You have the ability to understand customer processes, identify new business opportunities, and translate technical needs into profitable business.


We would like you to have:

  • A degree in engineering (mechanical, process, paper technology) or an equivalent technical background combined with practical experience.
  • Experience in technical sales, Key Account Management, or product management, preferably with a connection to the paper industry.
  • Experience in operations and/or process work from paper mills. Expertise in winders/slitter-winders is highly advantageous.
  • Documented communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and structured.
  • Languages: Fluency in Swedish and English (both spoken and written) is a requirement. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
  • Travel: The role is based from a home office or a flexible location and involves approximately 120 travel days per year (approx. 60% travel time) to meet our customers on-site.
