Summary
The incumbent in this role is passionate to delight the customer, supporting the different steps of an order and taking actions to fulfill service orders being processed at our Houston workshop.
This service specialist is a great communicator, has a sense of urgency and uses existing systems and processes to expedite orders per customer expectations.
This position requires an independent, self-starting individual who understands service operations, monitors, detects and acts on different topics that might slow down the order execution.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for interface with Technical Project coordinators, Service Sales team, Inside Sales and Production Planning to ensure on-time availability of parts needed for work-in-progress and shipment of finished products.
- Ensure project schedules and production planning of materials are prepared, maintained, and submitted according to all contractual requirements.
- Provide administrative support for Order to Cost process steps including but not limited to receiving and posting of shipments, updating the ERP system and exchange of documents between the different OUs and departments.
- Support warehouse activities, ensuring received parts are organized and readily available for assembly and shipment.
- Provide support for facility management in terms of building maintenance and compliance with Health Safety and Environment regulations.
- Drive local safety initiatives.
- Support the quality department in updating the Quality management system, implementing, and tracking product quality processes and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in project/order coordination.
- ERP system experience.
- Experience with product quality management and HSE compliance (preferred).
