Your task

• Support on coordination of internal and external inspections as well as inspectors acc. to ITP (production order): NDT, Electrical, Dimensional, etc.
• Perform reviews on quality documents and procedures.
• Implementation of the QA plan and their effectiveness through audits and assessments.
• Quality assurance of specific components in the project against the relevant standards.
• Conducting product and process audits.
• Working out solutions to problems that may arise in cooperation with project team and the customer.
• Method-oriented work as well as risk analyses with regard to quality assurance and the creation / evaluation of KPIs.
• Participating in project-related quality meetings and ensuring Voith Hydro internal process audits and verifications.

Your profil

• Degree in the field of engineering or equivalent.
• Several years of professional experience in quality management and quality control in manufacturing processes.
• Qualification for NDT-Level 2 as well as a certifications and experiences in audits (e.g. ISO9001, IS019011, VDA6.3) are required. 
• Practical knowledge in using IT- tools: SharePoint, SAP, MS office, database tracking programs and QASC tool.
• Knowledge in processing technologies (e.g. casting, forgings, fabrication, welding, etc) are an advantage.
• Good lean management background and strong management and communication skills are a plus.
• Very good knowledge of Portuguese and English, both written and spoken, are required. Other foreign languages are an advantage.
• Strong analytical expertise as well as a results-oriented, solution-oriented (pragmatic) and customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to travel worldwide on a regular basis.
