INNOVATE Talent Program: Junior Sales / Product Manager (m|f|d)

The program gives you the opportunity to find your individual way within our broad business set-up. We offer you a varying development journey for junior engineers (m/f/d) or technical graduates (m/f/d). Your working areas relate to strategically important and current business issues, including high interaction with other departments and interdisciplinary approaches.
The program consists of an appropriate onboarding in your department, including functional and personal trainings dependent on your individual requirements. According to the job set-up and your interests, job rotations and short-term international trips may be included. You additionally benefit from an experienced mentor (m/f/d) who will ensure a well-suited introduction into Voith as a company.

Your tasks
During the Talent Program you will pass through the departments of sales, product management and purchasing on your development journey and make a valuable contribution to various projects.
For example you will take on the following project tasks:
- Develop a sales strategy on how to systematically expand and target the acquisition pipeline.
- Analyze sales channels and reflect how unused potentials can be used.
- Developing customer segmentation including pricing is also part of your field of activities.
- Support the development of product strategies.
- Use your conceptual and imaginative way of working by developing country strategies, e.g. for a country from Southeast Asia, as well as customer-specific strategies.
In addition you will gain practical experience in operational activities with our customers:
- Accompany and support sales teams in the acquisition of orders and negotiations.
- Prepare customer appointments, especially for key accounts.
- Support and represent Voith at trade fairs.
Your profile
- Successfully completed master's degree in industrial engineering or a similar field; alternatively master's degree e.g. in mechanical engineering with an additional commercial qualification or business administration with an additional technical qualification.
- Initial practical experience in one of the three areas: sales, product management and/or purchasing.
- Initial international experience, e.g. in the context of internships, work & travel or a semester abroad, is advantageous.
- Very good written and spoken German and good English language skills.
- Your personal strengths are reflected in your entrepreneurial approach, your independent and conceptual way of working as well as your target group-oriented communication skills.
- Openness to go the "extra mile", overcome obstacles and creatively identify new solutions.
- Travel internationally, e.g. at Voith locations worldwide, is an enrichment for you to gain intercultural experience.
