Head of HyService (m/f/d) - Voith Hydro Europe

You lead Voith Hydro’s Service Business in Europe. In this position, you directly report to the CEO of Voith Hydro Europe.

 

Your tasks

  • Develop the Voith Hydro Service strategy for Europe and ensure a successful implementation.
  • Apply the extensive product management toolset and develop the service product portfolio together with the globally responsible “HyService” team at our headquarter in Heidenheim. On this basis, lead the detailed planning process and build up a strong performance controlling.
  • Develop and manage a strong set of KPIs along the complete business process in close cooperation with the globally responsible “HyService” team.
  • Ensure profitable growth of the business by further developing an effective lead- and sales-controlling.
  • Lead the annual strategy and business planning process with your top-down input as well as consolidation of bottom-up planning.
  • Lead the local Service teams functionally in close cooperation with the local sales and project management leaders (m/f/d). This includes build up and develop capabilities and ensuring people development as well as staffing leadership and other key positions.
  • Optimize the European set-up of Service, define sizing and location and respective roles of the Service Teams.
  • Drive the deployment of global standards and ensure their local acceptance while lead continuous improvement and ensure best practice sharing.
  • This requires regular visits to customers to ensure a close contact to the market.

 

Your profile

  • Degree in engineering and/or commercially (e. g. B.S., M.S., M. Eng, or MBA) with relevant experience in sales as well as in Service business of capital goods, ideally in the energy sector.
  • As a seasoned manager (m/f/d) you have experience in leading international teams.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory; other languages are an asset.
  • Strong strategic, conceptual and analytical skills combined with a hands-on mentality and commitment to make things happen.
