Your tasks

  • Customer main interface and the customer "voice" within the company.
  • Take responsibility for orders intake and related profit in the respective sales account and / or region.
  • Define account and project strategies to maximize the value for the customers as well as for Voith Hydro. 
  • Develop good relationship with potential partners (civil work companies, suppliers ...), consultant engineers and other important institutions, especially financial institutions, local authorities and persons influencing the business opportunities.
  • Cover the full portfolio from service to small and large power plant projects.
  • Create the technical and commercials proposals for Hydro Power plants and components, implements benchmarks and sales figures analysis and coordinates our clients’ global counterpart such as Key Account Managers (m/f/d), Holding, Financial Services etc.
  • Work closely with the Voith Hydro operating units globally to define and implement best sourcing strategies.

 

Your profile

  • Degree in a technical field of study or a comparable qualification with relevant work experience.  
  • Wide experience in Sales (B2B) and Marketing or Project Management, ideally gained in Power Industry or other industries with similar complex products and projects.
  • Beside demonstrated experience in Sales, Marketing or Project Management, keen sense of Business opportunities with proven track record in developing and managing complex and long-term projects, we expect intercultural experience combined with hands-on mentality and the creativeness to find and try alternative or even unconventional ways to succeed.
  • Fluency in English and French is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel on business with focus on Europe (approx. 20%).
