Your Tasks

• You will actively support the further development of strategy and transformation initiatives at Voith Hydro, bringing forward ideas and assisting in the implementation of innovative approaches.
• Comprehensive market, competitor, and trend analyses are part of your responsibilities, with results prepared and presented to management to inform strategic decisions.
• You will contribute to projects focused on improving business processes, organizational structures, and key performance indicators (KPIs), helping to increase overall business efficiency.
• You will create presentations, decision papers, and analytical reports for the leadership team, ensuring that complex information is communicated clearly and effectively supports key decisions.
• Supporting cross-functional workshops—including preparation, facilitation, and documentation—will help foster collaboration among different departments.
• Ad-hoc analyses in areas such as Business Excellence, Continuous Improvement, and Performance Management will be conducted, providing relevant data for ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Close collaboration with various internal interfaces, including Sales, Service, Operations, Finance, and HR, is essential to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Your Profile

• You are an enrolled student in a technical or business-related field of study, eager to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting.
• Confident use of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, enables you to create professional presentations and detailed analyses.
• Fluent English skills are required, and proficiency in German is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical abilities, a structured approach to tasks, and quick comprehension help you solve problems efficiently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders across all hierarchy levels facilitate effective collaboration.
• A high level of initiative, reliability, and genuine interest in strategy and transformation topics are important for success in this role.
• First experience in consulting or strategy work is a plus and will help you adapt quickly.
• Availability to work on-site at Voith Hydro in Heidenheim is required.
