Global Operations Controller (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • In this role, you act as Finance Business Partner for the COO of Voith Hydro as well as for the global functions within the Operations areas.
  • Sparring partner for operational and strategic decisions with a focus on profitability, efficiency, and performance.
  • Close collaboration with Operations, plants, and project teams to ensure commercial transparency regarding revenue and capacity planning.
  • Analysis of costs, productivity, utilization, and business performance development, including the derivation of action recommendations.
  • Further development of controlling processes, standards, KPI sets, and tools in the global Operations environment.
  • In addition, special analyses and general controlling tasks complete your scope of responsibilities.


Your profile

  • Above-average degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field of study with a focus on Controlling/Finance.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in controlling, ideally in an Operations, production, or supply chain environment within an industrial company, preferably in large-scale plant engineering.
  • An authentic and assertive personality with strong analytical, conceptual, and communication skills.
  • Strong affinity for international topics, pronounced intercultural competence, and very good German and English language skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in IFRS accounting.
  • Proficient in common MS Office applications; SAP and BI knowledge is an advantage.
