As the Global Head of Resource Allocation, you will lead the Center of Excellence for strategic planning, evaluation and governance of global investments across capital expenditures, R&D and IT initiatives. You will ensure optimal allocation of financial and operational resources to maximize value creation and support long-term business objectives. This role combines strategic foresight with rigorous financial discipline and cross-functional leadership.
Your tasks
- Leading the global investment review process for CAPEX, R&D and IT projects, including financial analysis, risk assessment and strategic alignment.
- Developing and implementing a global resource‑allocation and prioritization framework with clear transparency, consistency and value orientation.
- Monitoring post‑investment performance through well‑defined KPIs, structured review cycles and follow‑up measures.
- Acting as a strategic partner to the Executive Leadership by providing portfolio, capital‑allocation and performance recommendations.
- Steering cross‑functional governance boards and investment committees while ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and financial targets.
- Functionally leading a global team of investment controllers, fostering global quality standards, capability development and knowledge exchange.
- Continuously improving tools, processes and systems for planning, reporting, scenario modeling and dashboarding.
- Furthermore, the role shapes the broader financial steering framework beyond investment topics, including reporting, forecasting, KPI governance and overarching performance management in close alignment with Executive Leadership.
- It ensures that financial and operational steering is tightly connected to the long‑term corporate strategy and contributes to portfolio decisions, enterprise prioritization and value‑creation analyses.
- The position identifies structural inefficiencies, derives strategic corrective measures and drives transformation, restructuring and performance‑improvement programs to enhance operational and financial resilience.
- It ensures the harmonization and digitalization of financial systems (ERP, BI), strengthening transparency, data quality and global standards.

Your Profile
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Several years of progressive experience in investment controlling, corporate finance, performance steering and strategic planning within international matrix organizations.
- A proven track record in evaluating complex investment portfolios and managing strategic initiatives.
- Strong analytical, strategic and financial judgment capabilities, including scenario thinking, financial modeling and enterprise‑wide portfolio steering.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in building high‑performing international teams and influencing senior executives while driving cross‑functional alignment.
- High digital‑finance proficiency with strong experience in ERP and BI systems (SAP, Power BI, Tableau) and the ability to simplify complexity and communicate clearly.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
