The Voith Group | Division Turbo is looking for candidates (m/f/d) with potential for our INNOVATE Talent Program. This program offers graduates a 18 months development journey, to build-up on their talent, in preparation for their future at Voith.

The program gives you the opportunity to find your individual way within our broad business set-up. We offer you a varying development journey for junior engineers or technical graduates. Your working areas relate to strategically important and current business issues, including high interaction with other departments and interdisciplinary approaches.
The program consists of an appropriate onboarding in your department, including functional and personal trainings dependent on your individual requirements. According to the job set-up and your interests, job rotations and a short-term international trips may be included. You additionally benefit from an experienced mentor, who will ensure a well-suited introduction into Voith as a company.

Your tasks
Be part of a new project within a bigger team, which is planned to be set up in Garching, for the products DIWA NXT, Retarder and Compressor.

  • Build up engineering support at the production site, to speed up optimization measures, cost reduction measures and technical changes.
  • Learn the functionality and its challenges on the engineering team during the onboarding process at our Headquarter in Heidenheim and work on cost optimization for DIWA NXT and especially the electrical system (Central Recuperation Unit, Battery).   
  • Coordinate tasks at the interface between engineering and production. 
  • Identify cost drivers together with your colleagues during your job rotation in the purchasing department and define together with the engineering team alternative solutions and suppliers (e. g. in China). 
  • A two-month business trip to China is part of the program.


Your profile

  • Excellent master’s degree in (Industrial) Engineering or or Natural Sciences with Economical Background.   
  • Initial practical experience in the areas of automotive, engineering or cost and design optimization of electromechanical components during your studies. 
  • International experience in the context of a semester abroad or work abroad is desirable.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken). 
  • Excellent communication skills, team orientation, hands-on mentality, motivation, independence and openness to international cooperation as well as entrepreneurial thinking and action.
