Summary:
Weave fabrics to specifications by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor weaving machinery to ensure efficient and accurate production.
- Interpret and follow technical specifications, work instructions, and production requirements.
- Read and use a tape measure to verify dimensions.
- Identify and interpret weave patterns, spirals, and forming designs according to specifications.
- Inspect materials and finished products to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
- Execute weaving sequences in alignment with established processes and specifications.
- Move and transport fabrics to designated areas within the facility.
- Operate overhead gantry crane and related material handling equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Work safely at all times and adhere to all safety policies throughout the shift.
- Wear required PPE, including safety shoes, ear protection, and eye protection.
- Accurately measure fabric and record tape measurements with efficiency and consistency.
- Maintain strong attention to detail, continuously monitoring for defects and quality issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support workflow and quality standards.
