Summary:

Weave fabrics to specifications by performing the following duties.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor weaving machinery to ensure efficient and accurate production.
  • Interpret and follow technical specifications, work instructions, and production requirements.
  • Read and use a tape measure to verify dimensions.
  • Identify and interpret weave patterns, spirals, and forming designs according to specifications.
  • Inspect materials and finished products to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Execute weaving sequences in alignment with established processes and specifications.
  • Move and transport fabrics to designated areas within the facility.
  • Operate overhead gantry crane and related material handling equipment in a safe and controlled manner.

 

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Work safely at all times and adhere to all safety policies throughout the shift.
  • Wear required PPE, including safety shoes, ear protection, and eye protection.
  • Accurately measure fabric and record tape measurements with efficiency and consistency.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail, continuously monitoring for defects and quality issues.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support workflow and quality standards.
