The Site HSE Manager leads the HSE-Officer team and is responsible for implementing and overseeing Health, Safety, Environmental and Social management at the Rogun Hydropower Project in Tajikistan and associated facilities. The role ensures compliance with national regulations, contractual requirements, lender standards, and Voith HSE policies.

 

Your main tasks

  • Implement and enforce site HSE as well as Environmental & Social management systems in line fullfilling World Bank requirements
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, contractual obligations and lender requirements
  • Coordinate HSE matters with project stakeholders and contractors
  • Conduct, monitor and report HSE inspections and audits of contractors and subcontractors
  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented and report HSE performance to project management and corporate HSE
  • Stop work in case of serious safety or environmental risks, lead investigations of major incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Implement HSE training programs for site personnel and promote a strong safety culture


Your skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in HSE management on large construction or infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of international HSE and Environmental & Social standards (e.g. lender-financed projects)
  • Strong leadership, communication and reporting skills
  • Fluent English required; Russian is an advantage

The annual gross salary for this position is EUR 54.000,- based on full-time employment. Depending on qualifications and professional experience, there is a willingness to offer a higher salary.
