Repair Business Development Manager’s main responsibility is to significantly grow the repair business for fiber system and paper machine equipment by growing the existing business and developing new capabilities and offerings, both in the Voith workshops and at customer sites. The Repair Business Development Manager will visit customers during their normal operation and maintenance downs to provide technical and commercial support, in coordination with Regional Sales Managers, Product Support Specialists, Repair Operations, Agreement Managers, and Product Management.



  • Visit customers to provide technical and commercial support.
  • Responsible for growth and profitability of Repair business.
  • Review costs and processes with operations to help drive efficiency.
  • Review inventory levels and develop part kits for quick turnarounds.
  • Business development and expansion of Repair facilities.
  • Drive growth of second-hand machinery business.
  • Emergency Repair management.
  • Develop new and improve existing Sales models and coordinate sales activities with P&S and Projects Sales organizations.
  • Coordinate field service activities associated with the Repair business with operations and group Service Managers.



  • Mechanical aptitude and relevant industry experience.
  • SAP experience a plus.
  • Driven and success oriented.


Physical Demands:

  • in this position are regularly required to walk, stand and use hands to finger, handle or feel. They are frequently required to reach with hands and arms. They are occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear and regularly required to lift 10 pounds and occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds. Safety glasses, hearing protection and other PPE are required in designated areas.
